The house is ideally situated to explore the Sussex and Kent countryside. It is close to The South of England Showground and the historic village of Lindfield which has been the winner of The Best Kept Village Award for many years. It is also within easy driving distance of other historic towns such as Lewes, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells for sightseeing and excellent shopping facilities.

There is a wide choice of houses and gardens to visit in the area including Wakehurst Place (5 minutes), Sheffield Park (15 minutes) and Nymans (20 minutes). Glyndebourne is just 35 minutes away.
